Pyongyang, May 14 (KCNA) -- An exhibition of finishing building materials for rural housing construction took place in Pyongyang.

Displayed at the exhibition, named "Finishing Building Materials Exhibition for Pyongyang Municipal Rural Construction -2025", were more than 2 000 finishing building materials of 50-odd kinds presented by the districts and counties where rural housing constructions are under way.

The exhibition showed that the number of sorts of finishing building materials awarded the Quality Certification has increased over 1.8 times than last year and the overall production capacity of finishing building materials has increased more than 1.3 times and the building materials production units are boosting production by relying on their local raw materials resources.

Visiting the exhibition venue, officials, builders and technicians of the district and county construction brigades and employees of the building materials production units exchanged successes and experience gained in the work for diversifying finishing building materials, improving their quality and boosting the production. -0-
