Pyongyang, February 5 (KCNA) -- Officials of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea have conducted the political work at various coal mines seething with a drive for increased production from the outset of the year.

At the Ryongdung Coal Mine of the Kujang Area Coal-mining Complex, they carried on the political work without formality, thus making the coal miners over-fulfill their production and tunneling plans at 150 percent.

At the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine under the Kaechon Area Coal-mining Complex and the Kangdong Area Coal-mining Complex, they called for boosting the production, true to the plan of the Workers' Party of Korea and stirred up the coal miners' enthusiasm for increased production while offering aid materials. -0-
