Pyongyang, May 23 (KCNA) -- This year the Sci-Tech Complex in the DPRK added many advanced scientific and technological data urgently needed for the operation of regional-industry factories and the training of skilled workers to the sci-tech dissemination network system.

The complex has directed primary efforts to updating its homepage and improving the performance of integrated search system along with the work to secure and build up data helpful to solving problems arising in reality.

It opened a new item of regional development according to occupations and sectors in the sci-tech dissemination network system, added advanced technical data and excellent production techniques in detail and at the same time conducted the work to give new technologies of practical use to the working people by bringing the dissemination work close to reality.

More than 4 000 latest medical technical data necessary for improving the qualifications of medical workers of hospitals in every city and county and contents related to grain management and comprehensive wheat processing technology have been supplemented to contribute to making people well versed in science and technology.

The national sci-tech dissemination system centered on the Sci-Tech Complex fully demonstrates the validity and vitality of the Workers' Party of Korea's policy on preparing all the working people to be pioneers of technological innovation and creators of new technologies and contributes to hastening the future of regional rejuvenation and changes. -0-
