Pyongyang, June 29 (KCNA) -- A meeting for reviewing the first stage of the national technical innovation contest, aimed at solving the sci-tech problems for developing a new-type tractor prototype, took place at the Kumsong Tractor Factory on Friday under the co-sponsorship of the Korean Machine-building Industry Association of the C.C., General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea and the Vehicle Industry Bureau.

Present there were officials, scientists, technicians, designers, skilled workers, three-revolution team members, members of the February 17 Shock Brigade of Scientists and Technicians from different units including the Kumsong Tractor Factory and Kim Chaek University of Technology.

Officials, scientists, technicians and skilled workers of various units, involved in the contest, presented scores of valuable scientific and technological proposals.

Lots of proposals such as study on a new-type synthesis instrument board were highly appreciated. -0-
