Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Youth league organizations in North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK render active assistance to the youth workteams and sub-workteams in farms out in a drive to attain the grain production goal for this year.
The provincial youth league committee has organized meetings of rural youth workteam and sub-workteam leaders to prepare the young people, who volunteered to work in the countryside, as rural revolutionaries and patriotic agricultural workers in the new era.
It is also carrying on the dissemination of science and technology through multimedia and visual aids to encourage the members of rural youth workteams and sub-workteams to do all farm work in a sci-tech way.
Its officials have sent a large amount of manure and small farm implements to farms, while working with those youths on farm fields and educating them.
The youth league organizations in Hoeryong and Kim Chaek cities and Hwadae County sent to farms hundreds of tons of organic fertilizers prepared through a mass movement.
Youth league officials and members in Chongjin City and Myongchon and Kyongwon counties helped build dormitories for rural youth workteam and sub-workteam members and animal sheds and vegetable greenhouses and acquire several hectares of new arable land. -0-
