Pyongyang, February 13 (KCNA) -- Workers of the fishing units in the west coastal area of the DPRK have finished the winter ship repair ahead of schedule.

The Mundok Fishery Station under the South Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau conducted information and motivation work to awaken the masses' zeal while taking a step for the supply of materials to make preparations for sailing of the fishing boats. Its employees carried out the ship repair task by inventing and introducing valuable technical innovations.

Kamapho, Hanchon and Mundok Thaehyang fishery stations, too, improved the performance and appearance of many ships in a short span of time.

Similar successes were witnessed at Unjon and Cholsan fishery stations under the North Phyongan Provincial Fishery Management Bureau and the Nampho Fishery Station. -0-
