Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province in the DPRK is increasing the enthusiasm for emulation among Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories to produce more Koryo medicines efficacious for the promotion of the people's health.

The province organized an exhibition with the aim of increasing the variety of products and ensuring quality at Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in the province.

Presented to the exhibition were more than 10 000 Koryo medicines of dozens of kinds.

Various kinds of new products exhibited by the Hoeryong City Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory attracted the attention of the participants and various medicinal taffy products of the Myonggan County Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory were highly appreciated for their high efficacy.

Other units, too, exhibited many Koryo medicines they produced by directing efforts to the development of new products.

During the exhibition, the province evaluated the quality of the products displayed by the Koryo medicines production units and grasped the people's demand. On the basis of this, it conducted a review, thus increasing the enthusiasm for emulation among the units. -0-
