Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Officials and working people in South Hwanghae Province of the DPRK are displaying a high sense of responsibility in the immediate farming.

Officials and farmers in Unchon, Anak and Jaeryong counties finished the wheat and barley harvest ahead of others and are stepping up threshing.

Kangryong and Sinchon counties are carrying the grain without any waste to threshing grounds and pushing ahead with threshing, thus increasing the successes every day.

Farmers in Paechon, Thaethan and Samchon counties completed the harvesting while stepping up potato harvesting.

Haeju City and Jangyon County finished rice transplanting first, and several counties have pushed ahead with the after-crop rice-transplanting at the final stage while giving priority to harrowing paddy fields.

Meanwhile, cities and counties have taken measures to secure high-yielding strains of after-crop bean and plant them in the right season.

Officials and agricultural workers in the province are propelling the immediate farming processes, including finishing the third-round weeding of cornfields and intensifying the insect monitoring. -0-
