Pyongyang, June 28 (KCNA) -- Young people in the key industrial sector of the DPRK are increasing production through the collective innovation movement.

The young people of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex finished disposing slag and fly ashes.

The production has been put on a normal footing in various sectors of the national economy thanks to the young people in the field of electricity production who conduct shock brigade activities including collecting hundreds of tons of the dropped coal and reducing wagons' stoppage time.

Officials and members of the youth league in the Ministry of Railways secured more than 100 000 concrete sleepers and hundreds of cubic meters of gravels to contribute to ensuring the stability of railway operation.

Young people of the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex overhauled an electric locomotive by conducting the repair support team activities. In May, more than 100 locomotives and over 430 freight cars were repaired through the brisk mass movement.

As of June, the young people of the Kim Kwang Chol Youth Shock Brigade of the Ryongdung Coal Mine fulfilled their tunneling plans for two years, and the young people of the Cha Kwang Su Youth Shock Brigade of the Kogonwon Coal Mine are contributing to increasing the coal production by collecting the dropped coal every day. -0-
