50th Founding Anniversary of Taean Heavy Machine Complex Marked

Pyongyang, October 25 (KCNA) -- The Taean Heavy Machine Complex of the DPRK marked its 50th founding anniversary.

President Kim Il Sung personally chose the site of the complex, indicated the orientation of construction and prospect of its development, sent modern equipment and repeatedly showed great benevolence for the living conditions of its workers.

Chairman Kim Jong Il visited the complex and led it to steadily strengthen its own technical force so as to keep production on a normal tracking of high level.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un showed loving care and trust in its workers to entrust to the complex the production of generating equipment and custom-built equipment urgently needed for the country's economic development and various fields of the national economy.

The officials and workers of the complex have covered the road of loyalty and patriotism with one mind to glorify the immortal leadership exploits of the peerlessly great men with proud successes in production over the past 50 years.

They have introduced the CNC system into large machine tools, realized the integrated management information system and laid modern production foundations by holding fast to science and technology as the key to the growth of production.

A meeting was held on October 24 to mark the 50th founding anniversary of the complex.
