Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The Agricultural Commission of the DPRK is pushing ahead with the work for manufacturing grain dryers.

Shortly ago, the Ryongrim Farm in Mundok County, South Phyongan Province made a grain dryer with low coal consumption per hour and high drying capacity.

On the basis of calculating the capacity and practicality of grain dryer, the Agricultural Commission has taken measures to introduce it into farms.

In order to finish wheat and barely farming in a short time by completing and using hundreds of grain dryers in keeping with the weather conditions expected to be rainy during the harvest of wheat and barley, the commission has issued design guidelines to provincial, city and county agricultural guidance organs and pushed ahead with the work for manufacturing grain dryers.

Shortly ago, there took place a show on the grain dryers manufactured by farms in the county at the Oguk Farm in Anak County, South Hwanghae Province. -0-
