North Hamgyong and South Hamgyong provinces focus on restoring farmland damaged by flood.

Hoeryong City and Onsong County concentrated vehicles on riverbed dredging and riverbank reinforcement, while Tanchon City and Toksong and Kowon counties restored a large area of lost farmland by stepping up the soil improvement.

Phyongwon and Taedong counties of South Phyongan Province and Pyoksong and Samchon counties of South Hwanghae Province transformed tens of hectares of dry fields into paddy fields by addressing the lack of irrigation water.
