Pyongyang, April 7 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers of the Taean Heavy Machine Complex in the DPRK make innovations in the production of custom-built equipment and parts every day.

The technical team of the complex is conducting a brisk brainstorming campaign to ensure the speed and quality in production and boost the production by dint of science and technology.

The workers of the speed increase machine shop finished the manufacture of high-speed gears ahead of schedule. They are now manufacturing low-speed gears.

The gear reducer shop is making equipment necessary for maintenance and repair at thermal power stations and worm reducing gears and great gears to be supplied to major industrial sectors.

The complex successfully finished the assembling of rotary body of hydraulic turbine and is supplying in time such custom-built equipment and parts as traction motor frame, reducing gear and water heater. -0-
