Pyongyang, January 13 (KCNA) -- Kelp-transplantation started at the offshore farms in South Hwanghae Province, the DPRK.

The provincial fishery management bureau has taken measures to make the cultivation units raise seedlings needed for kelp-transplantation and supply cultivation materials and thus transplant kelp seedlings in the planned area of cultivation.

Officials and employees of the Pupho Offshore Farm are accelerating kelp-transplantation after finishing the repair of boats and securing hundreds of thousands of meters of rows and thousands of floats.

Officials and employees of the Ongjin Offshore Farm are also providing a guarantee for increasing the productivity of sea culture per hectare by transplanting kelp seedlings in the right time and in good quality as required by technical regulations while solving the problems arising in cultivation by themselves. -0-
