Pyongyang, January 12 (KCNA) -- North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK makes the preparations for building rural dwellings in the new year.

The province is intensifying the organizational and political work to ensure that all its cities and counties draw up detailed plans for rural housing construction and lay material and technical foundations for the projects.

It has taken measures to ensure the smooth transport of cement, to produce and secure structural steel for rural construction by itself and to give priority to transporting and processing timber.

It has also strengthened the architectural designing force so that it can make preparations to start the construction project right after finishing the designing of dwellings.

Cities and counties of the province are busy with preparations for successfully stepping up the rural housing construction. -0-
