Pyongyang, January 12 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, scientists of the Ferrous Metal Research Institute of the State Academy of Sciences in the DPRK succeeded in remodeling the ferroalloy furnace at the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex into an energy-saving one.

As a result, the grade of ferroalloy was improved, the electricity consumption reduced and the productivity increased. And a scientific and technological guarantee was provided for improving the quality of ferroalloy while lowering the standard of material consumption per unit. -0-
