Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- Last year, dozens of art works reflecting the new era of change and the happy appearance of the people were created in the DPRK.

The creators of the Mansudae Art Studio, the Central Fine Arts Studio, the Pyongyang Municipal Fine Arts Studio, Pyongyang University of Fine Arts and fine art studios in regions conducted creative work on the basis of their experience in the reality full of excitement and joy of the people.

Produced were art works reflecting the inauguration ceremonies of regional-industry factories held amid the expectation and interest of the people across the country.

The Korean painting "Joy of Jangphung County", oil painting "Joy of Kyongsong County", "Fireworks of Inauguration" and other works vividly show the excitement and joy manifested in the inauguration ceremonies.

Also created were the works vividly depicting the people pleased with various kinds of products being turned out from modern production lines.

Among the new fine art works are an oil painting "Dawn of the Sinpho City Offshore Farm" and an acryl painting "Dawn of Ragwonpho" showing the scenery in harmony with the wonderful buildings and beautiful nature.

Officials and creators in the field of fine arts continue to direct efforts to the creation of works reflecting the new era of regional development. -0-
