Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- The garment exhibition-2024 was opened with due ceremony at the Okryu Exhibition House of the DPRK on December 22.

The exhibition is aimed at creating more diverse designs of clothes and steadily developing the technology of processing clothes, the level of display and the method of service.

On display at the venue of the exhibition are more than 37 000 women's dresses, men's dresses, children's clothes and national clothes of 20 kinds and favorite goods made by over 200 garment production units across the country including the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ponghwa Trade Bureau and South Phyongan Province.

Present at the opening ceremony were officials concerned, officials, technicians, experts and producers of the exhibiting units.

During the exhibition there will be a training course for officials, technicians and experts in the field of garment. -0-
