New Houses Built at Rural Villages of South Phyongan Province

Pyongyang, December 15 (KCNA) -- New villages have appeared in Thaehung-ri and Unha-ri of Yangdok County, South Phyongan Province of the DPRK, to show the development of the countryside in a visual way while preserving the regional features and provide the inhabitants with more affluent and civilized living conditions and environment.

The radical change in the rural villages is a precious fruition of the energetic leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is bringing about entities of Korean-style socialist rural civilization one after another.

A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on December 13. Present there were Kim Man Jo, secretary of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Party and power organs and builders in Yangdok County and agricultural workers.

Ro In Gwon, vice-chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, addressed the ceremony. The licenses for the use of new houses were handed over and speeches made there.

When moving into new houses began, a dancing party was given and officials visited the owners of the new houses to share joy with them. -0-
