Pyongyang, September 12 (KCNA) -- The East Sea Fishery Research Institute under the Academy of Fishery Science in the DPRK conducts field survey to ensure the accuracy of forecast of fishing conditions.

The institute has timely detected the amount of fish flock and their movement on the basis of the regional characteristics and water conditions and temperature in the East and West Sea of Korea.

Its researchers took steps to ensure the accuracy of such data in the system for forecasting fishing conditions.

The institute is intensifying the research in order to develop the fishery science and technology. -0-
