Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- The 60th National Schoolchildren Art Festival closed with due ceremony at the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren's Palace in the DPRK on Friday.

The festival held on the occasion of the significant April holiday showed the appearance of the schoolchildren learning to their hearts' content and cultivating their hope under the care of the motherly Workers' Party of Korea.

South Phyongan Province won the first place in total.

The commendations of the Central Committee of the Socialist Youth League were awarded to the organizations which were highly appreciated in the festival.
