Pyongyang, January 9 (KCNA) -- Cement production units in the DPRK have increased production since the beginning of the year.

The Sangwon Cement Complex carried out the task for producing hundreds of thousands of more tons of cement it pledged before the Workers' Party of Korea last year through miraculous increased production. It is now raising its daily output while taking economic and practical measures for the normal operation of equipment in every system and the growth of cement production both in quality and quantity.

The Sunchon Cement Complex is ensuring proper process-by-process engagement and checking up equipment while solving problems arising in improving the performance of equipment.

Chonnaeri and Sunghori cement factories have operated equipment as required by technical rules and standard operating method and introduced new technologies to register high production results. -0-
