Pyongyang, August 25 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun says that North Phyongan Province is directing big efforts to cultivating hundreds of thousands of fruit saplings of different kinds to be planted in the district of the Sinuiju General Greenhouse Farm.

According to the newspaper, the province has applied more than 500 tons of organic manure after improving several hectares of land and digging a lot of trench-type pits for planting fruit saplings.

Hundreds of thousands of fruit saplings from the fruit farms and various parts of the country were planted with sincerity at the temporary nursery.

The production base was built near the nursery farm to increase the survival rate of fruit saplings to the maximum by regularly spraying Pyroligneous acid.

Hundreds of thousands of fruit saplings including apple and pear trees planted at the temporary nursery are in full leaves. -0-
