Pyongyang, December 19 (KCNA) -- Amid the great emotion and joy sweeping the DPRK in a new era of regional development and prosperity ushered in by the great Workers' Party of Korea Central Committee, Pukchang County of South Phyongan Province greeted the significant and auspicious moments of inaugurating its regional-industry factories.

The inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in Pukchang County for the Regional Development 20×10 Policy took place on Dec. 18.

Present there were Pak Thae Song, premier of the Cabinet of the DPRK, Ri Song Bom, chairman of the South Phyongan Provincial People's Committee, officials and working people in the province and the county, soldier-builders and employees of the factories.

Pak Thae Song addressed the ceremony.

He said that the gigantic changes unimaginable just two years ago are made across the country every year as common events, and such countless creations are the precious fruition of the tireless and devoted efforts of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to more successfully accomplish the sacred cause for the people as soon as possible.

He noted that the inauguration season, which has come without fail this year like last year and will continue more wonderfully every year in the future, too, is a clear proof of the unshakable will and outstanding leadership ability of the WPK Central Committee which is bringing earlier the comprehensive rejuvenation by thoroughly and perfectly accelerating its regional development policy.

The regional-industry factories, furnished with modern production system and conditions for supplying raw materials, will greatly contribute to the improvement of the living standards of the residents in Pukchang County and the independent development of the regional economy, the speaker said, calling upon the officials of the Party and power organs in the county to set clear goals, plans and scientific methodology for improving the people's standard of living and carry them out with staunch efforts in reliance on the solid foundations provided by the Party.

Kim Chang Hyok, chief secretary of the Pukchang County Committee of the WPK, made a speech.

He referred to the world of devoted service for the people's wellbeing by Kim Jong Un, who visited Pukchang County some days ago to provide meticulous guidance to make regional-industry factories be built as perfect entities clearly showing the Korean-style civilization and development and gave detailed instructions on increasing the variety of specialties with regional features and improving the quality of daily necessities.

Bearing deep in mind the heavy responsibility assigned by the Party and the people, the speaker expressed his resolve to strive through practical struggle so as to realize the plan and intention of the Party Central Committee to accelerate the comprehensive rejuvenation of socialism by speeding up the regional development.

Amid the great excitement and joy of the people in Pukchang County experiencing a lively motion of new life, the premier cut the inaugural tape together with officials and employees of the regional-industry factories.

A large number of balloons rose up and fireworks were displayed over the venue of the inauguration ceremony amid the cheers, adding to the joy of celebration.

After the ceremony, the participants went round the factories.

An art performance was given to celebrate the inauguration of the regional-industry factories in Pukchang County.

That evening fireworks were displayed to decorate the nocturnal sky over Pukchang County, giving confidence in the future and life that will be rosier and richer day by day under the benefits of the WPK's regional development policy. -0-
