Pyongyang, May 16 (KCNA) -- The trait of giving sincere assistance to the agricultural front is displayed throughout the DPRK.

Officials of the Cabinet, ministries, national agencies and relevant sectors helped the socialist countryside.

The Ministry of Mining Industry, the Ministry of Grain Administration and the National Tourism Administration sent materials needed for rural construction and farming to farms and officials of the Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service and the Revolutionary Relics Administration Guidance Bureau supplied accessories and repair tools necessary for the normal operation of farm machines.

Officials of the Ministry of Light Industry, the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Education, the Central Bank, the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea and the Class Education Guidance Bureau, too, supplied a lot of farming materials and conducted diverse information and motivation activities.

Officials in the field of electrical power industry are organizing the work to provide electricity needed for farming.

The machine-building industrial sector and farm machine factories across the country are putting spurs to the campaign to produce efficient tractors and farm machines and the railway transport sector is rapidly transporting farming materials to the relevant areas.

Officials and workers in South Hwanghae, North Hwanghae, South Phyongan and North Phyongan provinces are tapping all reserves and possibilities with the view that assisting the countryside is just the work for themselves and their units.

Officials in Pyongyang Municipality, Kangwon Province and Nampho Municipality are encouraging the struggle of agricultural workers who have turned out in the drive for attaining the grain production goal this year through political work, while taking measures to supply organic fertilizer, vinyl sheets, etc. -0-
