Pyongyang, May 27 (KCNA) -- Kangwon Province in the DPRK is pushing ahead with the work to build or remodel hundreds of branch schools.

Officials in province, cities and counties conducted the operation and command, exerting themselves on finishing the projects in a qualitative level on the basis of field survey.

The construction of Piun Branch School under Anbyon Primary School in Anbyon County was completed first.

A provincial demonstration was conducted at the branch school.

The construction of Kumri Branch School under Yonho Primary School in Kosan County and Jangogae Branch School under Kangdon Senior Middle School in Hoeyang County were completed and the construction of dozens of branch schools reached to the final stage.

The province is pushing ahead with the remodeling of ten-odd branch schools as well as the construction of over 150 branch schools. -0-
