Pyongyang, July 11 (KCNA) -- The Paektusan Hero Youth Power Station in the DPRK increased the production of electricity 1.2 times as compared with the same period of last year.

The power station has made a breakthrough in producing more electricity with the same amount of water by raising the technical and practical qualifications of its employees and ensuring the automation of production lines and stability of the integrated power control system.

The production of electricity is increasing thanks to the devoted efforts of its workers to greet the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea with proud labour achievements. -0-
