Namhung Youth Chemical Complex in DPRK Boosts Fertilizer Output

Pyongyang, May 19 (KCNA) -- The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex in the DPRK increased fertilizer production by 8 percent in May as compared with the same period of last year.

A new technology was developed and introduced to shorten the time of the reduction of ammonia synthesis catalyst, and the operation rate of the equipment, etc. were increased, providing a guarantee for boosting the productivity of nitrogenous fertilizer.

Technicians and skilled workers at a workshop remodeled the coal crusher in a rational way.

Workers and technicians at humic acid, moulding and drying workshops have raised the qualitative index of the raw material, and the urea workshop over-fulfills its daily plan by close cooperation between shifts and the operation of equipment according to the standard working methods.

The gas-cleaning and ammonia workshops are producing quality gas by applying advanced sci-tech achievements and valuable inventions, and the shipping workshop is attaining satisfactory results by rapidly packing and shipping the goods, thus guaranteeing the growth in production. -0-
