Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- The Tanchon Power Station in the DPRK has seen the completion of projects for the main waterway tunnel and the assembly of generating equipment and pressure iron pipe conduits.

The huge first-stage project for the main waterway tunnel was pushed forward thanks to the tremendous might of the single-minded unity of the army and people.

Commanding officers and members of the shock brigade of the hydro-power equipment assembling station finished the first-stage assembling of generating equipment for the power station in a short span of time by displaying the spirit of the new era, the Chollima spirit in the new era.

Builders of the brigade of the Ministry of Construction and Building-Materials Industry and other units finished the assembling of pressure iron pipe conduits in the fixed period by maintaining and operating winches and welders in line with technical requirements.

The labor achievements made by the builders of the Tanchon Power Station are giving a great impetus to the all-people struggle for bringing about great change by dint of patriotism and unity. -0-
