Pyongyang, June 13 (KCNA) -- Scientists of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of the DPRK have newly established a regeneration rice cultivation technique which contributes to minimizing flood damage in paddy rice farming.
This technique is of great significance in overcoming the effects of the disastrous abnormal weather and increasing grain production because it can increase rice production in the paddies which are difficult to expect crop yields owing to flood damage.
Scientists conducted the researches to establish the regeneration rice cultivation technique suited to the actual conditions of the country in some areas flooded last year.
The scientists who developed the regeneration rice cultivation technique in flooded paddies won a national sci-tech achievements introduction certification. -0-
