Pyongyang, April 28 (KCNA) -- The Nampho Municipal Spring Amateur Riding Contest took place Nampho Municipal Riding Club of the DPRK on Sunday.

The contest brought together amateurs selected from districts and counties in the municipality.

Among the spectators were officials, working people and schoolchildren in the municipality.

Prior to the contest, there was a demonstration of equestrians of the riding club.

At the horse-riding amusement game the players performed their movements promptly and accurately by displaying the horsemanship that they cultivated in ordinary time.

Amateurs' horse race was held, adding enthusiasm and optimism to the spectators.

The spectators encouraged with enthusiastic cheers the players who were dashing forward for victory.

At the awarding ceremony, the standings of organizations and the standings in each event were announced and prizes were conferred. -0-
