Pyongyang, March 7 (KCNA) -- Following are major news items and articles in leading newspapers of the DPRK on Friday:

- Agricultural workers met with winners of the Communist Mother Honor Prize and meritorious women of socialist patriotism.

- The artistic information team of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea gave a performance to mark the 115th March 8 International Women's Day.

- Graduate students of senior middle schools in South Phyongan, South Hwanghae and Jagang provinces volunteered to serve at frontline posts for national defence.

- The non-permanent central committee for promoting Regional Development 20×10 Policy rapidly supplied construction equipment and materials to the construction sites for implementing the regional development policy in the new year.

- There took place a passing-on-technique conference on sowing rice seeds, cultivating rice seedlings and sowing maize seeds.

- The KCNA in a commentary warns that the enemy states will have to pay dearly for their stupid and reckless war drills which will result in the self-defensive, fair and square, threatening toughest response from the DPRK.

- The paper carries a serial article dealing with the 80-year-long history of the sacred revolutionary leadership of the great Workers' Party of Korea in a chronological order.

- Articles call for more vigorously conducting an all-people campaign for increased production and economy.

 

Minju Joson

- An article says that the future of regional rejuvenation is rosy thanks to the outstanding leadership of the great Party Central Committee.

- Another article notes that the DPRK will always emerge victorious by dint of the harmonious whole. -0-
