Pyongyang, December 16 (KCNA) -- Preserved at the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun in the DPRK is a train used by Chairman Kim Jong Il till the last moments of his life.

In the whole period of his revolutionary leadership, he regarded the train as an office room and lodging place and made a ceaseless long journey of field guidance for the people's wellbeing.

In those days, many tearful revolutionary anecdotes came into being. Among them are the stories that he let not to whistle for fear of people's awakening from sleep and had a short and uncomfortable sleep and had rice-balls on the train.

He spent even his birthday on the train as well as holidays for the happiness of the people.

He used the train 1 647 times during his revolutionary leadership and made a forced march on train traveling journey of over 398 000 kms.

The impressive stories associated with the train still add to the yearning for the Chairman in the minds of the DPRK people. -0-
