Pyongyang, September 4 (KCNA) -- The plan for producing spring cocoons of the Sericulture and Silk Industrial Bureau of the DPRK was over-fulfilled thanks to the efforts of the working people of cocoon production units across the country.

The bureau set stepwise production goals according to seasons with the main emphasis on laying the material and technical foundations of the production units including securing silkworm supra-species and increasing the fertility of soil. And it intensified the organizational work and technical guidance for doing so.

It also produced hundreds of tons of disinfectants by itself and supplied in time hundreds of thousands of quality cocoon holders.

The sericulture management offices across the country started the work to attain the goals for producing autumn cocoons after producing spring cocoons. -0-
