Pyongyang, January 25 (KCNA) -- Officials and workers at the Tokchon Area Coal-mining Complex in the DPRK have carried out their daily quotas through a drive for increased production and creation from the outset of the year.
The complex is directing big efforts to the normal operation of transport system of belt conveyor while giving priority to the supply of parts and materials needed for tunneling and coal mining.
Coal mines worked out tunneling plans for creating new coal fields and concentrated manpower and equipment to provide a basis for increased coal production.
Officials at the Namyang Coal Mine have been active at worksites to solve knotty problems.
Workers at Jenam, Tokchon and Toksong coal mines are boosting the production through strengthened inter-shift cooperation and application of advanced blasting methods, while concentrating efforts on the main tunneling to secure enough reserve coal fields.
The Sochang Youth Coal Mine, too, has improved the management of equipment and transport system to increase the production. -0-
