Pyongyang, October 1 (KCNA) -- Cities and counties in South Phyongan Province of the DPRK are finishing harvesting maize in the main area, according to Rodong Sinmun.

Mundok and Sukchon counties raised the enthusiasm for competition among farms and thus registered good results in maize harvesting every day.

Kaechon and Sunchon cities finished harvesting maize ahead of schedule by ensuring full operation of vehicles at farms with large areas of fields.
