The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un sent a message of greeting to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and president of the People's Republic of China, and a reply message to the general secretary of the Central Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Party who is the president of the Lao People's Democratic Republic.

The Standing Committee of the Supreme People's Assembly of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea issued decrees on conferring the title of model education city to Huichon City, Jagang Province and the title of model sports city to Sariwon City, North Hwanghae Province.

Choe Son Hui, foreign minister of the DPRK, returned home after visiting the PRC.
