Pyongyang, January 5 (KCNA) -- Hundreds of units in the DPRK won the December 15 Quality Medal, February 2 Goods Certification and Quality Certification last year, amid a drive for increased production and creation in all sectors and units of the national economy.

Such products as primary schoolgirl bags and lysine cakes produced at the Phyongsong Bag Factory, the Songdowon General Foodstuff Factory and other units were awarded the December 15 Quality Medal.

The Chongryu Pharmaceutical Factory and many other medicine producers won the GMP authentication for having put their production lines on a scientific and technological basis.

The Ryongaksan Spring Water Factory, the Kangso Mineral Water Factory and the Jangjasan General Foodstuff Factory won the food safety management system certificate for their advanced production lines.

Products of tens of units were registered as "February 2 Goods". They include the Songchon County Foodstuff Factory, the Songyo Knitwear Factory, the Pyongyang Corn Processing Factory, the Rason Samryong Footwear Factory and the Jongsong General Pharmaceutical Factory. This is unthinkable apart from sci-tech innovations. -0-
