Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- The State Commission of Science and Technology in the DPRK is taking positive measures to make major researches.

According to Minju Joson, the commission has provided a sci-tech guarantee for producing and supplying the major materials with domestic raw materials and has taken measures to provide conditions for carrying them out in keeping with the establishment of such major researches as the completion of Korean-style iron-making technology.

It has made in detail the stage-by-stage plans for the establishment of the technology for breeding and cultivating high-yielding spring-sown wheat and barley, the settlement of the technical problems arising in improving the quality of school uniforms, the domestic production of medicines and medicinal intermediates, the establishment of the production line of wheat flour improvement agent.

On this basis, they are establishing practical ways for successfully making the researches in contact with relevant institutions. -0-
