Pyongyang, April 14 (KCNA) -- A photo exhibition "Pyongyang, our capital city undergone a radical turn in the great era of Kim Jong Un" was opened on the occasion of the significant April holiday. It shows the new history of change of Pyongyang in a period of great prosperity in construction, the great heyday of creation provided by the great ambition and energetic leadership of the Central Committee of the great Workers' Party of Korea.

The photo exhibition intensively and visually shows the eye-opening development of prosperous Pyongyang in the new era while recording the unprecedented miracles in the history of capital construction, and is an epitome making the people keenly feel the bright prospect of the DPRK and the capital city advancing and making a leap forward on the people-first principle.

On display at the venue of the exhibition are more than 380 photos of the new and peculiar monumental edifices and magnificent spectacular scenes of Pyongyang in various aspects, while recording unprecedented miracles of creation in width and depth of changes in the new era of the glorious Juche revolution, the great era of Kim Jong Un, in the content and form of architecture, and in the speed and scale of construction.

The photo exhibition clearly shows that the epochal change in Pyongyang is the vigorous breath and valiant spirit of the great era of Kim Jong Un dynamically advancing toward the bright future of a socialist power and the appearance of Juche Korea symbolic of the comprehensive development of our state and the new cultural efflorescence.

An opening ceremony of the photo exhibition took place at the Okryu Exhibition House on Sunday.

Present there were Kim Jong Gwan, vice-premier of the Cabinet, Kim Su Gil, chief secretary of the Pyongyang Municipal Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials concerned, officials of ministries and national agencies, officials and working people of institutions, industrial establishments and youth and students in the municipality.

Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the WPK, made an opening address.

The change in Pyongyang is not merely a success brought about for ten-odd years but a brilliant fruition of the outstanding wisdom and immortal efforts of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un who led the great changes with his ardent patriotic will that the capital of our state should become the most beautiful and great one in the world.

He declared the exhibition open, convinced that the exhibition would mark a significant occasion in implanting great national pride and self-esteem into all officials, Party members and other working people and encouraging them to make a new determination and struggle.

Going round the exhibition, the participants were more firmly convinced that Pyongyang would shine forever as the best ideal city of mankind in the world and the capital of the most dignified powerful Korea along with the great history of changes being undergone thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un. -0-
