Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- This year's construction of regional-industry factories started in Sinpho City and Taegwan, Rangnim and Sepho counties.

The groundbreaking ceremonies of regional-industry factories took place on the spots on Tuesday.

Present there were Ju Chang Il, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, chief secretaries of the provincial committees of the WPK, officials and working people in relevant provinces, city and counties and soldier builders.

Speakers at the ceremonies referred to the great efforts made by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ceaselessly covering the road of devoted service for the people's wellbeing to be eternally recorded in the history of national prosperity to usher in a new era of comprehensive rejuvenation in which all the people will enjoy an improved and abundant life.

They stressed that the policy of the WPK for the people is the genuine and popular policy in which it takes care of everyone, no matter where he or she lives, and the one of love in which it visits the remote and isolated places, difficult and toilsome places before anyone else.

They said with great emotion that a new model base of offshore farming was successfully built in Sinpho City last year as a gift of love presented by the motherly Party and modern regional-industry factories would be built this year to improve the living standard of the regional people.

They noted that the people, too, in Taegwan and Rangnim counties, remote mountain regions of the northwestern end of the country where regional-industry factories more updated in architectural style, convenience and practicality will be built, are dreaming of the rosy future in which they would lead an abundant and civilized life under the leadership of the WPK.

They referred to the fact that Sepho County turned into a large-sized stockbreeding base under the loving care of the Party and comes to have the assets conducive to improving the people’s living standard through the groundbreaking ceremony of modern and new factories in which the peculiarities the regional economy enliven.

They called for continuing to dynamically advance to implement the Party's policy on regional development, saying that it is the intention and firm will of the WPK that the long-term development of regions means the rosy future of the DPRK and the prospect of Korean-style socialism.

Commanders of the 124th regiments of the KPA made speeches.

Soldier-builders started the projects amid the great emotion and joy of holding the historic groundbreaking ceremonies predicting fresh miracles for regional change and greater happiness.

Officials of the capital city of Pyongyang and regions met and encouraged the officers and men of the KPA laying lots of factories. -0-
