Pyongyang, February 26 (KCNA) -- A meeting took place on Tuesday to mark the tenth anniversary of the publication of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un's immortal classic work "Let the Entire Party, the Whole Army and All the People Conduct a Vigorous Forest Restoration Campaign to Cover the Mountains of the Country with Green Woods".

Present at the meeting were officials of the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection and officials and employees of an affiliated unit.

Kim Kyong Jun, minister of Land and Environment Protection, made a report.

The reporter stressed that Kim Jong Un made public the immortal classic work "Let the Entire Party, the Whole Army and All the People Conduct a Vigorous Forest Restoration Campaign to Cover the Mountains of the Country with Green Woods" on Feb. 26, 2015 and thus clearly indicated the orientation and ways to be consistently maintained in conducting a vigorous forest restoration campaign and kindled the fierce flames of a patriotic movement across the country.

He said that mountains of the country have been turned into gold and treasure mountains over the past ten years thanks to the provision of the important guideline for forest restoration including the issue of sprucing up tree nurseries, putting the sapling production on a scientific, industrialized and intensive bases and taking measures for forest protection and the issue of involving the entire Party, the whole army and all the people in the forest restoration.

Saying that the Central Tree Nursery has been turned into a model sapling production base and modern tree nurseries built in different parts of the country and sci-tech researches into forest restoration and an experience-sharing movement briskly conducted, he added that such achievements made in the past are a precious fruition of the rare wisdom and tested leadership of the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

The reporter called upon all officials and employees to fulfill their responsibility and duty in covering the whole country with trees and flowers as soon as possible, holding aloft as the immortal banner the ideological and theoretical exploits performed by Kim Jong Un in accomplishing the patriotic and sacred cause for the prosperity and development of the country and eternal prosperity of posterity. -0-
