Pyongyang, July 14 (KCNA) -- The machine-building industry of the DPRK is taking practical measures to step up the modernization project.

Officials of the Ministry of Machine-building Industry, the Vehicle-building Industry Bureau and other relevant units have striven to carry them out.

Steps are taken to push ahead with the work for consolidating the material and technical foundations of machine-building bases, including the second-stage modernization project at the Kumsong Tractor Factory.

Collective discussion and study have been intensified to settle the problems arising in rationally relocating equipment at industrial establishments and establishing a well-regulated system of inspection and quality control over all production lines and products. -0-
