Pyongyang, January 29 (KCNA) -- National-level hospitals in the DPRK are steadily improving medical service by applying advanced diagnostic and therapeutic methods to clinical practice in keeping with the trend of modern medical development.

The Kim Man Yu Hospital has directed efforts to establishing advanced treatment methods such as an endoscope operation method of traumatic intracephalic hematoma and a method of treating reflux gastritis with acupuncture and cupping therapy.

The Pyongyang Maternity Hospital has applied effective treatment methods appropriate to the physical constitutions and conditions of patients at the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex.

Health workers of the Ryugyong Dental Hospital and the General Dental Hospital under the Ministry of Public Health conduct field medical service in South Hwanghae Province and farms in other rural areas.
