Pyongyang, June 14 (KCNA) -- The three-revolution team members active in Kangwon Province of the DPRK are taking the lead in the work for regional economic development and improvement of the people's livelihood.

Thanks to their efforts, more than 100 valuable technical innovations have been introduced into production and construction in the province this year.

The three-revolution team members active at the Chonnaeri Cement Factory invented a profitable technical innovation plan conducive to proper maintenance of equipment, thus providing a guarantee for increased cement production while saving a lot of manpower and materials.

Those active at the Kalma Offshore Farm laid a foundation for putting the scallop farming on a scientific basis, irrespective of the sea water condition, and enabled the farm to reenergize the sea cucumber farming by means of proprietary water circulation system.

Those active at the provincial information and communications management station developed an efficient cable detecting and identifying machine in cooperation with technicians of the station, and those in Kumgang County and Munchon City opened up a prospect for producing various kinds of spices and paving blocks with their own efforts and technology.

The three-revolution team members in cities and counties and at farms in the province are conducting researches for increased grain production while solving sci-tech problems arising in fish farming in paddy fields. -0-
