Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- The building stone production management bureau under the Ministry of Construction and Building-Materials Industry in the DPRK marked its 20th founding anniversary.

On May 1, 2005, when the whole country celebrated the holiday, Chairman Kim Jong Il looked at the building stone samples newly found in the country and set forth important tasks for making effective use of stone resources.

The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un put forward the management bureau on the forefront of the struggle to usher in a great golden age of construction and energetically led the struggle for the development of the country's building stone industry.

All the successes made in the field of building stone industry over the past 20 years are a brilliant fruition of the wise leadership of the peerlessly great men who worked heart and soul while brightly indicating the orientation and ways for the building stone industry.

A commemorative meeting was held on April 30.
