Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- The Jangsu Koryo Medicine Pharmaceutical Factory of the DPRK has been successfully rebuilt as a model of the Koryo medicine pharmaceutical factories in the DPRK.

The factory was furnished with modern equipment and the production processes were put on a germ-free and dust-free basis of high level. As a result, another material and technical foundation was provided to contribute to the wellbeing of the people by increasing the production of efficacious Koryo medicines.

The inauguration ceremony took place on April 30.

Present there were Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Jon Sung Guk, officials concerned, officials and employees of the factory.

At the ceremony, a speaker called upon all the producers to take care of the equipment and steadily raise the technical knowledge and skills to produce more quality Koryo medicines with hygienic safety.

At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the factory. -0-
