Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- A meeting was held in the DPRK on April 30 to review the 2024 socialist emulation for increasing the production of greenhouse vegetables among the Kangdong Greenhouse Complex, the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm and the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm.

Present there were Ri Chol Man, vice-premier of the Cabinet and chairman of the Agricultural Commission, Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the Agricultural Commission, the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea and units participating in the emulation, and labor innovators.

Han Jong Hyok, chairman of the Central Committee of the UAWK, presented the data on review.

The participants watched a video showing the successes and experience made in greenhouse vegetable production.

Then the emulation standings were announced.

A citation in the joint name of the WPK Central Committee and the DPRK Cabinet and a rotating silk banner were conferred on the Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm which proved successful in the socialist emulation. And certificates of merit from the UAWK Central Committee were awarded to exemplary agricultural workers. -0-
