Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, Kim Hyong Jik University of Education in the DPRK has developed and introduced a system of evaluating the teachers' qualifications in teaching.

The system helps teachers raise their teaching qualifications while creating and applying the advanced teaching methods such as research-type teaching method and discussion-style teaching method on the basis of the pedagogical requirements of subjects of particular field and types of teaching.

As it scientifically evaluates the differences in the teaching qualifications of teachers, it is effective in learning about the teaching qualifications of relevant departments and faculties and, furthermore, the whole university and in taking measures and raising the emulation for practical abilities and the enthusiasm for improving their qualifications.

The university has set a goal to generalize the system to the universities in the field of teacher training. -0-
