Pyongyang, February 11 (KCNA) -- Kangwon Province in the DPRK is conducting the work to mobilize the ideological power for concentrating all efforts on farming and, at the same time, making sure that the process of assisting the rural communities serves as an occasion for strengthening the material and technical foundations of the farms.

Thanks to the efforts of the officials and working people, the self-sufficing manure was secured three times more than the same period of last year and an increase was witnessed in securing small and medium farm implements in quality and quantity.

Officials and working people of the provincial people's committee, the provincial management bureau for regional construction and building-materials production, the provincial public prosecutors office and the provincial youth league committee sent thousands of tons of manure, various farming materials and farm implements to the Ogye and Wollang farms in Anbyon County, the Wonsan Dairy Cattle Farm, etc.

Some units in Wonsan City, too, have prepared a large amount of self-sufficing manure.

Officials and working people in Sepho, Kosan and other areas piled a large amount of urban manure in every field. -0-
